First three volumes, 1925; last volume, 1928. Red cloth with cover title and spine lettering gilt; bevelled edges. With plates in colour after Shirley Slocome, and numerous illustrations in b/w selected and arranged by the author. Some very minor spotting to cloth (probably offset from dj’s), and dj spine tips slightly chipped; last volume has patch of light bubbling to front pastedown, but this is still one of the freshest copies we have seen of this magnificent set, complete with dustjackets.
