Hardcovers in complete djs. Oblong 8vo. 3 vols. 2003-2005. Set of three books by Rendel & Spitz, about 110 pp. each, and–all but for Unfilled Gap– illustrated in colour. Unfilled Gap, as the title may suggest, is unfilled, consisting entirely of blank pages commemorating an exhibition that did not take place. In 2005, the German advertizing agency, Rendel & Spitz, suspended their annual invitational design installations at their office building, known as “the Gap”. This blank volume is the first since then, and takes the concept of book to about the same level as the pet rock. All three volumes are Fine; two of the djs are Fine, but the one on the third volume is Near Fine, with a small closed puncture to the rear dj panel. Also includes ISBN 3932565401 & 3932565517.
