Hardcover portfolio with cloth spine. 61 pp. of text + 100 photogravure plates, unbound as issued, in portfolio. Plates depict over 200 views and decorative elements, mostly photographs and some engravings. Three plates misnumbered (typos) but collated as present with correct table of plates. MISSING ONE PLATE ONLY (pl. 7 from Salle a Manger suite). Portfolio missing cloth spine (i.e. boards detached), with rubbed and slightly soiled boards and a few abraded patches; some minor marginal nicks to plates, occasional very light marginal soiling, but three plates have distinct (but very small) marginal stains, not affecting illustrations; illustrations otherwise clean and bright.
