n.d. (ca. 1930?). Unpaginated (approx. 200 pp.). A collection of children’s stories, copiously illustrated with drawings, numerous full-page, and 12 colourplates by various artists. Neat ink-inscription on front free endpaper (dated 1930), and “This belongs to” vignette filled in (also very neatly); half-title missing bottom corner (not affecting illustration on verso); extemities rubbed, with light wear to corners; spine slightly sunned (but not affecting spine lettering or spine illustration), and minor bump to rear board; but a remarkably bright copy, given its age & its provenance (children’s books don’t often survive their original owners quite this well).
