Edition: First EditionCatalogue:

3rd edition (?). 10 pp. plus 126 numbered engraved plates. Half-cloth and marbled boards; spine label in red leather with lettering in gilt. This edition includes plate 47 bis, but plate 101 was never published. Spine label rubbed; large patch of the marbled paper peeled off top board near spine , with smaller patch at bottom corner, and chipped at board edges; top corners rubbed and bottom corners worn; some light soiling to textual margins, and a very small hole in margin of plate 47, not affecting etching; interior otherwise clean and bright. Tatham’s etchings, originally published in 1799-1800 and later expanded, were a vital inspiration for the designs of the Regency Style. According to Harris (Regency Furniture Designs), “The significance of this book cannot be over-estimated.”
