Approx. 88 pp. Illustrated with tradesmen’s logos. Small rubber stamp on title-page and rear pastedown; spine missing, and boards affixed with tape; but interior clean and bright. The tradesmen’s logos were designed by Bernard Wolpe for the Bauersche Foundry in Frankfurt-am-Main; title-page vignette by Rudolf Koch who also wrote the preface. This book uses the “Matthias Claudius” typeface for the first time. There is no publisher’s imprint or place of publication, but it may be privately printed either for Wolpe or for the foundry. Logo captions are in German and English; preface and colophon in German only.
