Unpaginated. 500 copperplate engravings over 3 volumes, engraved after Raphael and other masters, with scriptural passages in Latin and French. Frontispiece engraving of Queen Marie Leczinski of France. The only texts are the dedication to the Queen, preface to the reader, and a note on the scriptures for each volume. Bookplate on front pastedowns; original leather rubbed, with a few of stains, and a bit of scuffing & wear to extremities; abrasion on v.3 spine, a few abrasions to v.3 endpapers; but interiors otherwise mostly clean & bright, with most of the usual marginal stains and soiling restricted to v.2. Text in French & Latin.
