Illustrated from engravings and watercolours in b/w; folding historical map of Aberdeen (from 1661). Bookplate on front pastedown and ink name on front free endpaper (1906); foxed, but else a nice tight, bright copy. Bookplate & ink name (P. S. Lumsden) are those of General Sir Peter Lumsden, as we have been able to ascertain from an inscription in another book.
