Larry Rivers Smithsonian Print “poster” 1981

This Larry Rivers off-set lithograpgh was produced from an original collage composed of photographs glued onto paper, drawings, and writings. Rivers added masking tape and then inscribed words. Finally he stapled the entire work onto a piece of cardboard. This large scale print, 34 3/4″ x 24 1/4″ was published by the Smithsonian Institue in New York in 1981. The print is complete with edition number (248/400) and signed by the artist. Previously framed, in excellent condition but for mounted tape(acid free) left in the back of the print from previous mounting.
