Miller first wrote this appreciation of his painter-friend, Hans Reichel, in 1938 for distribution to a small circle of friends only. This Loujon Press edition (Gypsy Lou Series, #3) is the first printed version, and won awards for typography, type direction and design at TDC’s annual awards show, NY. Slipcase near fine, with small tear and rubbed corner. One of the 1399 copies of the “Cork Edition”. Also contains section in Miller’s original French of parts of this MS.
