Full red calf binding, ruled in gilt; title lettering gilt; silk endpapers. Comprising an album of 33 highest quality b/w reproductions mounted on card stock. We presume this is either a unique presentation copy or a custom-bound self-collected album of photographic reproductions. Original owner’s name stamp on verso of front free endpaper and versos of three album pages; patch of soiling to top board; extremities rubbed, with some scuffing to leather of top corner of top board and head of spine; almost imperceptible damp stain to upper border of rear board, and small damp stain to upper rear pastedown and free endpaper, not otherwise affecting interior. Still a nice, bright copy of a curious and majestic volume.
