Almost 280 pp. of photographs, most enlarged from Riefenstahl’s legendary “Olympia” film, plus special section of photographs showing Riefenstahl at work on the film, from directing to editing. In complete dj and original glassene. This is apparently a special edition featuring a leatherette protective wrapper with embossed metal Olympic Medal. (We’ve never seen another one with the protective wrapper.) Endpapers look new, but it’s hard to tell; otherwise volume shows only light browning to marginal borders and darkening to edges; dj is mint, and glassene slightly age-darkened. Protective wrapper has age-darkened spine and soft crease on front panel, not affecting medal. Foreword by Riefenstahl in Gemran; photo captions in German, French, English, Spanish and Italian.
