Approx. 50 double-folded pp. Colour woodblock illustrations with poems, for the most part, set in; but some pages devoted to illustration only. In addition to Sword and Blossom poems, this volume also contains a section of love poems. Vol. III of a series of 3 vols. Colophon, in Japanese, gives printing date as Meiji 43 (i.e. 1910). Bookplate on front free endpaper; spine faded, with fading and rubbing to borders; corners rubbed, and very slight, shallow chip to spine head, with rubbing and light peeling at foot; some dust soiling to endpaper margins, and tanning to edges; interior otherwise clean & bright, and altogether a nice copy of this beautiful little gem.
