Hardcover. Blue cloth printed in white, with spooky fantasy creature (a Mune) in red. 58 pp. Written & illustrated by Frederick J. Waugh, with page decorations, some textual illustrations, and 20 full-page plates in b/w and 8 in colour. Front cover rubbed, slightly affecting cover vignette, where a bit of the red has flaked mainly from the creature’s feet; corners and spine tips slightly rubbed; some faint soiling & creasing to front free endpaper; last plate detached, and one interior plate partially; otherwise a clean, bright interior. Inspired by Haida & Tlingit culture, these illustrations are so full of creepy trees and other organic matter sprung to life, that we’re waiting for Johnny Depp to make the movie.
