Spine slightly faded, with rubbing to extremities; edges tanned, and light soiling to rear endpapers; nice bright cover, however. We presume this is the American edition of the more deluxe British & Canadian editions of this book, published in 1911. This American edition does not have the 12-page introduction of the other, has 9 fewer colourplates, does not have tissue guards with fish illustrations, and is in slightly smaller format with narrower margins.
