Also includes bibliography, list of the artist’s awards and memberships in societies & clubs, and complete list (up to 1945) of his illustrations for books, works in public institutions, specially commissioned prints, and wood engravings; as well as partial catalogue raisonne of his colour woodcuts, stating dates and edition sizes. Phillips’s signature– let alone an inscription– is rare indeed.
